  • Begin by scanning the QR code at the print shop or sending a message to the PrintProxy BOT. Follow the prompts to attach files and configure print settings.

  • PrintProxy is a service that facilitates convenient printing at partnered print shops. Users can send print requests through the PrintProxy WhatsApp BOT to the print shops securely where the print shop has no access to your phone number and the documents or Files are not stored or viewed on their systems, and are deleted post printing automatically.

  • Yes, PrintProxy's services are free to use. You can send print requests and use our platform at no cost. However, payment for the actual print orders is handled directly by the print shop, and there may be costs associated with the printing services provided by the shop.

16. Is my personal information secure when using PrintProxy?

  • Yes, PrintProxy will never share your personal identifiers to the print shop and we never use your personal identifiers for anything else other than facilitating you with your print requests and your files are securely processed without being stored at the print shop. 17. Are there any restrictions on the types of files I can print?

  • PrintProxy supports a variety of file types such as pdf, doc, docx, jpeg & png. However, ensure your files comply with the print shop's capabilities.


18. Can I use PrintProxy for bulk printing needs?

  • Yes, PrintProxy supports upto 5 files per order and each file can have 50+ pages, you can send as many print orders as you want. Ensure your print setting and file attachments are accurate for each item in the bulk request as the shop will not have view to the files


19. How do I collect my printouts after placing an order?

  • Be present in person at the shop. Confirm the Order ID, share the OTP that you will receive when the print shop accepts your order. Once the print order is completed, make the payment as per the agreement between you and the print shop, collect your printouts directly from the print shop.


20. My phone is unable to scan the QR code. What should I do? (Android)

  • If you're having trouble scanning the QR code, follow these steps to easily access the PrintProxy BOT: Ensure your camera is functioning properly & check your internet connection.If both of these are working fine, you can try the below option: 
    • Ask the print shop for their PrintProxy number on which you have to send the print order or you can try the following steps
    • 1. Open the Camera App. 
    • 2. Click a photo of the QR code. 
    • 3. Open the image of the QR code using the Google Photos App. 
    • 4. Tap the third option at the bottom called "Lens." 
    • 5. Google Lens will provide you with a link from the QR code. 
    • 6. Click the link to access the PrintProxy BOT's WhatsApp chat.

Or you can ask for the whatsap number of the shop and send it to PrintProxy and follow instructions,


21. How can I scan a QR code at the print shop using my phone?

  1. Open WhatsApp, in the top right corner, you have a QR Scanner, Open the QR Scanner, point it at the QR code: Aim your phone's camera at the QR code displayed at the print shop's QR code and it will directly take you to the PrintProxy's WhatsApp chat.
  2. Open your Camera App: Locate the camera icon on your phone's home screen or app drawer and tap to open. Point it at the QR code: Aim your phone's camera at the QR code displayed at the print shop. Click on the link: Once the camera recognizes the QR code, a link will pop up on your screen. Simply click on the link, and it will instantly take you to the PrintProxy's WhatsApp chat.


22. Can I schedule print requests for a specific time or date?

  • Currently, PrintProxy does not support scheduled print requests. Users can submit requests in real-time at their convenience.


23. Do I need to create an account to use PrintProxy?

  • PrintProxy does not require you to create any separate account, you can use your existing WhatsApp account to send messages to PrintProxy (8867619448), No setup required. If you need more help understanding how PrintProxy works. Visit: https://www.printproxy.com/


24. What languages does PrintProxy support for communication?

  • PrintProxy primarily supports English for communication. Additional language support may be introduced based on user demand.

  • While currently unavailable, we are exploring options for future enhancements, including rewards or loyalty programs.

  • PrintProxy is accessible on Android and iOS devices. You just have to send a message to the PrintProxy (8867619448) on WhatsApp and it will work the same

    • Talk to the Print shop operator about it and see if they can fix the issue. If issues persist, contact customer support of PrintProxy on https://www.printproxy.com/ so that we can better understand the issue and resolve it

    • Yes, PrintProxy caters to both personal and professional printing requirements.


    30. How are payments processed in PrintProxy?

    • Payments for docuement printing services are processed outside of PrintProxy. Users settle payments directly with the print shop. PrintProxy is not involved in processing, managing or viewing payments. We are only a medium to facilitate data privacy focused printing infrastructure


    31. Can I send print requests to print shops which are not partnered with PrintProxy?

    • Yes, you can send print requests to print shops which are not partnered with PrintProxy. Print request will always protected with a One Time Password security and Ome Time View access by default and the Non-partnered print shop will receive this print request on their WhatsApp number, you can not send the print setting via PrintProxy to Non-partnered print shop and they can view the files once for printing before it's deleted.


    32. Can I send print requests remotely without being physically present at the print shop?

    • Yes, users can send print requests remotely but the print shop will not print the document if you are not present at the location. Sending a request remotely can save time as users won't have to stand at the shop during the file attachment and print setting process.


    33. How do I track the status of my print request?

    • After sending a print request, users receive updates such as acceptance confirmation, cancellation and order being processed.


    34. What security options are available for print requests?

    • PrintProxy ensures secure printing with features like OTP verification for order acceptance, automatic file deletion after printing, and no file preview for shops. These security settings are enabled by default and cannot be changed.


    35. Can I configure print settings for each file seperately?

    • Yes, users have the option to configure print settings iseperately for each file or apply the same settings to all files in a print order, like color and no of copies.

    37. How many files/documents can be sent in one print order?

    • One print order can have upto 5 files. This number will increase as required.

    • The Shop will never view your file(s) until they are printed and handed to you
    • You phone number is never shared with the shop  
    • Files were automatically deleted after printing, neither the shop nor we can access them.
    • Your files cannot be printed until you share the OTP with the shop.

    39. Will my data/document be protected if the shop is not verified with PrintProxy?

    • Your file(s) stay private until you share the OTP with the shop.
    • The shop can view the file(s) once for printing, after which they are automatically deleted.
    • Your phone number is never shared with the shop
